Artist's Description
The historic Hedge House on the waterfront in Plymouth, Massachusetts is decorated for the 2020 holiday season.
The house was built in 1809 for New England sea captain, William Hammatt. In 1830, the Hedges purchased the house in 1830 and lived there until 1919.
Once located on Court Street, the house was moved to Water Street by the Antiquarian Society in 1919. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world. I am drawn to beauty in simplicity. It is where I find the most peace. It is my hope that my photos will evoke same emotions within the viewers. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment.
