The Betsy Wetsy doll was popular in the 50s. She was named for the daughter of Abraham Katz, the head of the company. She has blond plugged hair and blue eyes that open and close. Her arms and legs are jointed. Betsy came with a plastic bottle. Her special feature was wetting after water from her bottle was poured into her open mouth.
This doll is very special to me. She was my only childhood doll.
A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world. I am drawn to beauty in simplicity. It is where I find the most peace. It is my hope that my photos will evoke same emotions within the viewers. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. I hope you like my pictures as much as I enjoy photography. PLEASE NOTE: The FineArtAmerica watermark does NOT appear on sold images.
