Standing on the steps of Cole's Hill, I took this photograph of the shallop, the Elizabeth Tilley (brown boat) through the columns of the Plymouth Rock Canopy in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In the process, I included the words, "The Landing Of".
Designed by McKim, Mead and White and donated by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, the portico reads: Erected by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America to Commemorate the Three Hundredth Anniversary of the Landing of the Pilgrims."

A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring.
