Description
The super worm moon of 2019 coincided with the spring equinox. The length of day and night are nearly the same. The super worm moon's name was named as the earth's soil unfreezes and worms emerge around the time of the spring equinox.
This photograph of the moon was taken as it rose over the Plymouth Rock Canopy in historic Plymouth, Massachusetts.
