This is the statue of Massasoit, chief of the Wampanoags, on top of Cole's Hill in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He overlooks the harbor and the Plymouth Rock Canopy.
The statue is the work of sculptor, Cyrus Edwin Dallin (1861-1944}.
A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world.
