Description
From November 4 through Thanksgiving, 2018, the Plymouth Poppies Project will be on display on the Hedge House lawn on the waterfront in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Hundreds of knitted and crocheted poppies were placed on the lawn in honor of Plymouth County veterans who served during "wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations". On November 11, 2018, there will be a ceremony dedicating the poppies honoring the veterans on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

this is the reminder of a nations loss and the great sacrifice that was paid by so many so that we are free, there is no counting the cost as its too great and the loss of a nations young cannot be measured in any form, your efforts portray what a nation paid
Janice Drew replied:
The Plymouth Antiquarian Society and the volunteers who knitted and crocheted those poppies to honor veterans are to be commended for their work. This is a special tribute.
