Mt. Pleasant School on Whiting Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts was built in 1905 for $19,000. The brick schoolhouse had six classrooms on two floors and no elevator.
In 2016, it was voted to close the school and move the Pre-School students to other schools. The building will most likely be sold, and this beautiful schoolhouse with ocean views will soon be memories for many who spent their grade school years here.
