Artist's Description
Standing on the waterfront in Plymouth, Massachusetts, I focused on Leyden Street and Town Square in the distance. Spring is one of the prettiest seasons of the year, and I wanted to include the flowering plum tree to represent the season.
About Janice Drew

A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world. I am drawn to beauty in simplicity. It is where I find the most peace. It is my hope that my photos will evoke same emotions within the viewers. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. I hope you like my pictures as much as I enjoy photography. PLEASE NOTE: The FineArtAmerica watermark does NOT appear on sold images. Very unique and lovely capture of Plymouth's historic architecture. That tree is just beautiful , and has been a witness to much of this town's history.
Janice Drew replied:
Thank you, Janine. Those plum trees give us beach plums that are used in jam. It was a beautiful morning, and I wanted to take advantage of the sky and flower trees of Spring.
