I'm a beachcomer. I love walking the beach searching for sea glass and different shells. Red and blue aren't easy to come by. The browns, whites and greens are in abundance on rocky shorelines. Here's a mix of colors I have found through the years.
A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world. I am drawn to beauty in simplicity. It is where I find the most peace. It is my hope that my photos will evoke same emotions within the viewers. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. I hope you like my pictures as much as I enjoy photography. PLEASE NOTE: The FineArtAmerica watermark does NOT appear on sold images. Beautiful glass.....I look at it and wonder how long it took this smoothing process to happen. SE
Janice Drew replied:
Sharon, google the process it takes for broken glass to become sea glass. There are several books on it as well. From what I have read, it takes years. Thank you for your comment.
