This is a closeup of the holiday water wheel at the Plimoth Grist Mill at Jenney Pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts. There's a tree floating in the stream and wreaths hanging on the water wheel and on the building.
A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world. I am drawn to beauty in simplicity. It is where I find the most peace. It is my hope that my photos will evoke same emotions within the viewers. Thank you for taking the time to look and comment. I hope you like my pictures as much as I enjoy photography. PLEASE NOTE: The FineArtAmerica watermark does NOT appear on sold images. Beautiful rustic capture of history past, all frosted in snow. Such a pretty town - everywhere you look.
Janice Drew replied:
Thank you, Janine. I wanted a closer look at the decorations on the grist mill. They decorate every season.
