The wildflowers are in full bloom along Town Brook in Brewster Gardens in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Joe-Pye, the purple flowers in the foreground is a weed and grows in late July and August.
Joe-Pye, was named after a Native American herbalist. The wildflower was used as an herbal remedy to lower fevers and other maladies.
A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring.
