Shot through the columns of the Plymouth Rock Canopy, this is the Beaver Moon on November 3, 2017 over the harbor in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
According to the Farmer's Almanac, the Beaver Moon got its name from the Algonquin Indian tribe because it marked the best time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze.
November's moon is also known as the Hunter's Moon.
