The historic 1820 Plymouth County Courthouse in Plymouth, Massachusetts was built and designed by John Blaney Bates (1783-1831). This is the courthouse before the newly renovated one opened in November 2017. Photography was digitally enhanced.
A life-long resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts, I have been pursuing my passion for landscape photography ever since retiring. Much of my work is captured primarily in and around my historic hometown and nearby areas on the South Shore of Massachusetts. My photography represents how I view the world. This is a beautiful old building. I remember I had jury duty, when the temperature inside hit 92 they sent us all home. :). It's nice to see the Farmers Market on the front lawn after the winter.
