Description
This image of the painting signage, "Reserved Parking" is a piece of nostalgia.
The building In downtown Plymouth, Massachusetts was built as the Plymouth County House of Correction in 1853 by architect Jonathan Preston of Boston. When a new jail was constructed, this became the Town's police station. A new police station was built, and the building became the Commissioners' Building housing the Commissioners office, County Treasurer's office, Parking Department and Law Library. All offices have since moved to Obery Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The Plymouth County Commissioners' office was torn down in February/March 2015.
