Description
An American flag hangs over the front door of the Plymouth Post Office Building at 6 Main Street Ext. in downtown Plymouth, Massachusetts.
The building, an historic former post office building, was designed by Oscar Wenderoth and built in 1914-15 by the Hanold-O'Brien Company for the federal government. No longer the main post office in Town, the two-story brick Colonial Revival building, now houses a post office branch along with other offices and businesses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
